| Hope House has only one annual fundraiser. The first year (2003) we had about 50 individuals who responded with gifts to honor their mothers and that she stood for and gave them life. We were able to raise just over $7,000. That money was used as a down payment for our new facility. In 2004 we had over 300 individuals contribute to our Mother's Day event and we raised over $26,000. That money was used to pay back one of our investors and put us in the position to pay off our house this summer which will allow us to move forward to purchase another home in the fall of 2005. Our goal for 2005 is to get more churches and individuals involved than last year and to pay off our home and have a good start at purchasing our next home.
